Step 3 - Cleaning Image

Noise, dust, scratches, dirt or other blemishes will need to be removed. Use the Clone or rubber stamp tool to remove the mole, eye lines and other blemishes.

We select a clean area similar to the dirty one and then copying the first over the second. We use areas near to the dirty area, because the nearby colors and textures are most likely to give the best results.

Hint: for best results cloning should be applied gradually but if you get undesirable results just remove the clone using the undo (CTRL +Z) and try again. Close the view.
To remove the mole, select the zoom control and create a view over the right cheek that includes the mole. Press Hi-Rez. Now chose the clone tool from the shortcut menu. From the paint menu enter brush size 15.

Click down directly above the mole at approximately 3-4 brush distances and then click down on the mole. Start pressing down and moving the cursor over the mole.
Hint: selecting the clone tool at any time resets the source and destination settings.

Use the same procedure to remove all lines and blemishes. Zoom views use RAM so it is best to close any zoom views that are no longer in use.
